A leading company in the Contracting and Rental industry is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support daily accounting activities, manage accounts payable and receivable processes, assist with VAT and Zakat compliance, and maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Prepare VAT and Zakat tax filings in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Record and manage tax-related General Ledger (GL) entries.
• Coordinate with ZATCA regarding tax inquiries, compliance matters, and documentation.
• Perform daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system.
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support finance and accounting teams with routine reporting and administrative tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), VAT, and Zakat processes.
• Good command of the English language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or other accounting certifications are advantageous for long-term professional development.
