An urgent opportunity is available for experienced Lead / Senior Planning Engineers in the UAE to support a large-scale Oil & Gas project. The role is designed for experienced planning and project-controls professionals with strong GCC exposure and extensive experience managing project schedules, cost control, delay analysis, and planning teams.

The successful candidate will lead planning activities across major projects, utilizing Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, SAP/ERP systems, and project-controls methodologies. Strong expertise in schedule management, cost control, delay analysis, and coordination with project teams is essential for successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling activities for large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Manage project planning teams and coordinate planning activities.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Prepare progress reports and schedule performance updates.
• Support project cost control and overall project-controls activities.
• Analyze schedule deviations, delays, and critical-path impacts.
• Apply appropriate delay analysis techniques.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
• Monitor project performance against planned timelines and objectives.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced project reporting and analysis.
• Work with SAP/ERP systems for project and cost-related information.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management with planning forecasts and project performance information.
• Contribute to effective project delivery, schedule recovery, and performance improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong GCC experience.
• Primavera P6 – Mandatory.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems.
• Strong experience in Cost Control and Project Controls.
• Knowledge of Delay Analysis Techniques.
• Experience leading planning teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong project scheduling and progress-monitoring skills.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Age: Below 45 years.
• Immediate availability required.
• Candidates currently available in India are preferred.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Salary: AED 15,000–16,000 per month, all-inclusive

Contract: 2-year limited contract, extendable based on mutual consent.

Employment Status: Bachelor Status
