A leading pharmacy chain in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Local AI & Database Agent Developer to develop and deploy AI-powered database solutions in an on-premise environment. The role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in AI/LLM development, Python, database technologies, Text-to-SQL, and AI agent frameworks.

The successful candidate will work on integrating large language models with enterprise databases, developing database agents, and deploying open-source LLMs locally using technologies such as Ollama or vLLM. The position also requires a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and role-based access control to support secure enterprise AI implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered database agents using Python and modern LLM technologies.
• Build and maintain AI applications and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop Text-to-SQL and database-agent solutions for enterprise applications.
• Integrate AI and LLM technologies with Oracle Database and SQL Server.
• Implement solutions using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Deploy and manage open-source LLMs in on-premise environments using Ollama or vLLM.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Integrate AI agents with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Optimize AI/database workflows for reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Maintain and document AI, database, and application components.
• Use GitHub and software development best practices to manage relevant projects and code.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in AI/LLM development, Python, databases, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Related technical discipline
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Strong experience with FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Strong experience developing Text-to-SQL and Database Agents.
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL Server.
• Experience deploying open-source LLMs on-premise using Ollama or vLLM.
• Strong understanding of Authentication, Authorization, and RBAC.
