Job Overview

National Blue Company Limited is seeking an experienced Planning & Project Control Engineer to join its construction team in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive expertise in project planning, scheduling, project controls, and construction management, particularly those with experience on SABIC and Aramco projects. Applicants must currently be residing in Saudi Arabia and be eligible for a local transfer.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress, supporting contractual claims, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within established performance objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules and approved baselines.
• Monitor project progress and evaluate schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans to address project delays.
• Develop look-ahead schedules to support project execution.
• Perform delay analysis and assist with contractual claims preparation and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Prepare executive reports, project dashboards, and performance monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with project management, commercial, engineering, and site teams to ensure effective planning and reporting.
• Monitor project milestones and identify potential scheduling risks.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and project reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within project controls processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning and Project Controls within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing planning activities across multiple construction projects.
• Strong background working on SABIC and Aramco construction projects.
• Hands-on experience in claims preparation, delay analysis, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience in project reporting, schedule management, baseline development, dashboards, and progress reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certification.
