Job Overview

A prestigious mega construction project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Precast Manager to oversee complete precast concrete production and construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, execution, quality control, manpower, materials, equipment, logistics, and coordination with project and site teams.

The Precast Manager will work closely with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Procurement, Construction, and Site teams to ensure precast elements are manufactured and delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role requires extensive technical knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing, handling, transportation, and erection.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise overall precast production execution and construction activities.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of precast elements to site.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Procurement, Construction, and Site teams.
• Review approved shop drawings, production drawings, method statements, and technical requirements.
• Ensure precast elements are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor production quality, dimensional accuracy, finishing, curing, lifting, storage, and transportation of precast elements.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, molds, and other resources required for production.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams regarding inspections, testing, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Monitor productivity and production targets and implement corrective measures when required.
• Maintain accurate records of production, material consumption, inspections, deliveries, and inventory.
• Identify potential production and site constraints and develop practical solutions.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of precast molds, machinery, lifting equipment, and production facilities.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers involved in precast-related activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements throughout production, handling, transportation, and erection activities.
• Prepare and submit regular production and progress reports to project management.
• Coordinate precast production activities with overall project execution requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in precast concrete production and construction.
• Strong knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing and construction processes.
• Extensive understanding of reinforcement, casting, curing, lifting, storage, transportation, and erection of precast elements.
• Good understanding of structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Strong production planning and resource management skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong QA/QC awareness and understanding of inspection and corrective action processes.
• Strong HSE awareness and ability to ensure compliance across precast operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.
