Job Overview

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) – Dubai is expanding its project execution teams and is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector specializing in bridges, underpasses, roads, and infrastructure projects. The position is suited to civil engineering professionals with strong site-based quality control experience and knowledge of infrastructure construction standards.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). The role involves coordinating inspections with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams while maintaining accurate quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC site inspections for bridge, underpass, road, and civil infrastructure works.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
• Prepare, manage, and follow up on WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and inspection records.
• Monitor construction workmanship, material compliance, and site testing activities.
• Review quality documentation and ensure accurate project records are maintained.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and site teams.
• Facilitate consultant and client inspections.
• Verify completed works before inspections, approvals, and handovers.
• Identify quality issues and support appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC reports and site documentation.
• Support timely project execution through effective quality compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated site experience as a QA/QC Inspector on bridge, underpass, road, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality procedures and documentation, including:
  • Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
  • Work Inspection Requests (WIRs)
  • Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Technical test reports
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of method statements and inspection procedures.
• Proven ability to coordinate inspections with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Previous RTA project experience is an advantage.
• Strong documentation, reporting, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced infrastructure project environments.
