Job Overview

A fast-growing FinTech company backed by a leading investment group is seeking a Relationship Officer to support the expansion of its SME lending business across the UAE. The role will focus on acquiring and managing small and medium-sized enterprise clients for business loans and receivables financing while developing long-term commercial relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation, sales conversion, client onboarding, relationship management, and business development. Strong knowledge of the UAE SME market and an established local SME network will be valuable for identifying new opportunities and expanding the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage SME clients across the UAE.
• Promote business loans and receivables financing solutions.
• Generate and qualify new SME lending leads.
• Develop sales opportunities and convert qualified prospects into clients.
• Manage the client onboarding process.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with SME business owners and decision-makers.
• Leverage local SME networks to identify new business opportunities.
• Follow up with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle.
• Work closely with internal teams to facilitate client onboarding and financing processes.
• Support the company’s expansion and market presence across the UAE.
• Maintain accurate client and sales activity records.
• Identify new opportunities within the SME lending and digital finance market.
• Meet assigned sales and business development objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, SME lending, or a related financial services environment.
• Proven experience in sales and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of SME financing and business lending.
• Established UAE SME network is highly valuable.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
• FinTech or digital lending experience is an advantage.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Salary & Compensation

Salary: Up to AED 10,000 per month + commissions

The compensation structure combines a fixed salary with performance-based commission opportunities.
