Job Overview

A prestigious ADNOC Offshore and Onshore project in Abu Dhabi is seeking 10 Safety Officers for a long-term project. The position is suitable for experienced HSE professionals with a strong background in Oil & Gas safety and previous experience working on ADNOC-approved projects.

The Safety Officer will support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements across offshore and onshore project operations. Candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant Oil & Gas HSE experience, along with mandatory ADNOC approval and practical offshore or onshore experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE requirements across project activities.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Support compliance with applicable Oil & Gas and ADNOC safety requirements.
• Monitor safe working practices across offshore and onshore operations.
• Identify unsafe conditions and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Support risk assessment and hazard identification activities.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Monitor the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safe work practices.
• Report safety observations, incidents, and potential hazards.
• Support incident investigation and corrective-action processes where required.
• Maintain relevant HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to promote a strong safety culture.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with project HSE procedures and requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas HSE.
• ADNOC approval is mandatory.
• Previous offshore and/or onshore Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of industrial HSE practices.
• Understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and HSE documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a project-based environment.
• Ability to monitor and promote safe working practices.
• Relevant HSE qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Salary

Up to AED 8,000 per month, all-inclusive.
