Job Overview

A leading Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Airport Design Engineer to contribute to airport infrastructure and aviation projects across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The position is suited to engineering professionals with 5–7 years of relevant airport design experience and a strong background in consultancy environments.

The successful candidate will be involved in airport design engineering activities, including the development of signage and marking drawings for existing runways and taxiways, preparation of Basis of Design reports, and development of related technical documentation. Strong knowledge of airport design standards, codes, and technical requirements is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop airport design engineering deliverables for aviation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare signage and marking drawings for existing runways and taxiways.
• Prepare Basis of Design (BoD) reports and associated technical documentation.
• Review and apply applicable airport design standards, codes, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate airport design activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Develop and review technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Support design development and technical coordination throughout project stages.
• Apply relevant airport design and engineering software to project deliverables.
• Ensure design outputs comply with applicable project requirements and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders as required.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of airport and aviation infrastructure projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Airport Design Engineering.
• Previous experience with an Engineering Consultancy Company is mandatory.
• Proven experience developing signage and marking drawings for existing runways and taxiways.
• Experience preparing Basis of Design (BoD) reports and related technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of airport design standards, codes, and technical requirements.
• Experience with GCC projects is highly preferred.
• KSA project experience is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in relevant airport design and engineering software is mandatory.
• Strong technical documentation and engineering design skills.
• Excellent multidisciplinary coordination and communication abilities.
