Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the operation and management of enterprise cloud infrastructure in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure at scale, cloud automation, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and cloud cost optimization.

The role will focus on building, operating, automating, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure across Azure and other major cloud platforms. The successful candidate will work with technologies including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure Monitor, PowerShell, Bash, and Python, while also supporting Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud environments.

This is a 6-month to 1-year contract, extendable, offering opportunities for continued career growth and professional development in cloud infrastructure, automation, Kubernetes, multi-cloud technologies, and FinOps. Relevant Azure certifications can further support career progression within cloud engineering and infrastructure roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure at enterprise scale.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Manage Azure networking, storage, and identity services.
• Implement and maintain cloud monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Azure Monitor.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Support infrastructure environments across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.
• Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational processes.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Identify opportunities for cloud infrastructure optimization and operational efficiency.
• Support FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and platform issues.
• Follow cloud infrastructure security, reliability, and operational best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience operating Microsoft Azure infrastructure at scale.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Practical experience with one or more of:
  • Terraform
  • Bicep
  • ARM Templates
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AKS.
• Strong understanding of Azure:
  • Networking
  • Storage
  • Identity
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, particularly Azure Monitor.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Hands-on infrastructure experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on infrastructure experience with Oracle Cloud.
• Relevant Azure infrastructure certifications, such as:
  • Azure Administrator
  • Azure Solutions Architect
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be currently available in Qatar.
