Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular, reusable Ansible automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and automation workflows.
• Configure and manage Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in production environments.
• Work with Controllers, Job Templates, Workflows, and RBAC.
• Develop and maintain automated testing using Molecule and ansible-lint.
• Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage dynamic inventory and enterprise automation integrations.
• Troubleshoot automation, deployment, and integration issues.
• Apply Git-based development and version-control practices.
• Support automation initiatives across enterprise-scale environments.
• Contribute to documentation, reusable automation patterns, and technical standards.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions.
• Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and team enablement activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Ansible experience with demonstrable enterprise-scale implementation.
• Strong production experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Practical knowledge of:
  • Controllers
  • Job Templates
  • Workflows
  • RBAC
  • Molecule
  • ansible-lint
  • CI/CD
  • Dynamic inventory
  • Enterprise integrations
• Strong automation design and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Demonstrable Git repository, published roles/collections, or sanitized code portfolio.
• Strong experience with testing, CI/CD, and integrations.
• Good communication and customer-facing experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a consulting and enterprise environment.
• EX294 / RHCE certification preferred.
• EX374 certification preferred.
• RHCA is an advantage.
• Cloud automation experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP through Ansible collections is desirable.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or conducting enablement sessions is desirable.
