Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer – XML Platforms to support DevOps, infrastructure automation, and XML platform operations in the Netherlands. The position is suited to professionals with 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in Linux administration, automation, cloud infrastructure, and XML technologies.

The successful candidate will work across Ansible automation, Bash scripting, RPM package management, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Linux system administration, XSLT, and XQuery. The role also involves data tuning and performance optimization, requiring a strong understanding of infrastructure reliability, automation, and platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows using Ansible.
• Perform configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for operational and automation requirements.
• Create, manage, and maintain RPM packages.
• Administer and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
• Support cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and operational health.
• Work with XML technologies including XSLT and XQuery.
• Perform data tuning and performance optimization activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, automation, and platform-related issues.
• Improve deployment, configuration, and operational processes.
• Support continuous improvement of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and technical teams to ensure reliable platform operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Strong proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting.
• Experience with RPM package creation and management.
• Professional experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong Linux system administration expertise.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and infrastructure automation principles.
• Experience with XSLT and XQuery.
• Knowledge of data tuning and performance optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to automate repetitive infrastructure and operational processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
