Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior L2 Operations Engineer to provide operational support across Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) and the client’s Network Engineer (ENE) production environments in Qatar. The role requires strong telecom domain knowledge and hands-on experience supporting production environments at the L2 operations level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for production incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, deployment coordination, automated build and deployment pipelines, and operational data fixes related to order orchestration and revenue assurance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 operational support for Ericsson ENM and ENE production environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Support order orchestration and revenue-assurance-related data fixes.
• Manage and coordinate releases and production deployments.
• Support automated build and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python and/or Groovy alongside shell scripting.
• Analyze production logs and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams and customers to resolve operational issues.
• Provide clear customer-facing communication during incidents and operational activities.
• Support continuous improvement of production operations and deployment processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong experience in the telecommunications domain.
• Strong operational knowledge of Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) and ENE.
• Proven L2 production operations and support experience.
• Experience with order orchestration and revenue-assurance-related data fixes.
• Strong production incident troubleshooting and RCA capabilities.
• Experience with automated build and deployment pipelines.
• Experience coordinating releases and deployments.
• Scripting skills using Python and/or Groovy, together with shell scripting.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience with Rosetta or similar deployment automation tools is an advantage.
• MySQL/JDBC exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of Apache HttpClient is beneficial.
• Experience with Rhino/JavaScript within JVM environments is an advantage.
• Experience with log-analysis platforms is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification is an advantage.
