Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to support integration and API engineering initiatives in Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in enterprise integration, API management, cloud platforms, and modern integration architectures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, securing, monitoring, and supporting integration solutions across enterprise and external platforms. Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Microsoft Azure API Management is mandatory, with additional experience in Google Cloud Platform Apigee considered highly relevant.

This is a 6-month to 1-year contract, extendable, offering an opportunity to work on complex integration environments and collaborate with partner and entity technical teams. The position provides opportunities for continued professional development through practical exposure to enterprise integration technologies and relevant MuleSoft or Azure certification pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration and API solutions.
• Build and manage APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Configure and manage APIs using Microsoft Azure API Management.
• Apply API design principles across REST, gRPC, messaging, and event-driven integration architectures.
• Implement secure integration solutions covering authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Monitor integrations and APIs while maintaining effective logging and error-handling mechanisms.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform Apigee for API management and integration requirements.
• Support integrations with national identity and payment platforms.
• Collaborate with partner organizations and entity technical teams.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and API-related issues.
• Maintain clear, structured, and disciplined technical documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration architecture, processes, and technical standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in integration and API engineering.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure API Management.
• Strong understanding of:
  • API design
  • REST APIs
  • gRPC
  • Messaging
  • Event-driven integration
• Strong knowledge of secure integration, authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Experience with integration monitoring, logging, and error handling.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform Apigee.
• Experience integrating with national identity and payment platforms.
• Relevant MuleSoft or Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills with partner and entity technical teams.
• Strong technical communication and documentation capabilities.
• Must be currently available in Qatar.
