Job Overview

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices using Java 21/23 and Spring Boot 3.x while contributing to enterprise-grade cloud applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions using modern DevOps practices, event-driven architectures, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java 21/23 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Build cloud-native enterprise applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring OpenAPI and Swagger.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Ensure code quality through SonarQube and automated testing.
• Develop unit and integration tests using Mockito and JUnit.
• Configure secure application communication using Mutual TLS (mTLS).
• Monitor application health and performance using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Work with MS SQL Server and Spring Data JPA for database integration.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 21 or Java 23.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Gradle build automation.
• Experience deploying applications on OpenShift.
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SonarQube for code quality management.
• Experience using Hazelcast for distributed caching.
• Strong database experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience developing Kafka-based event-driven applications.
• Knowledge of Mutual TLS (mTLS) implementation.
• Experience with Mockito, JUnit, Postman, Swagger, and Spring OpenAPI.
• Experience monitoring applications using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must currently be based in Sweden.
