Job Overview

Redcon International is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support building construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The role is designed for professionals with 5–7 years of relevant experience and strong technical expertise in HVAC, central air-conditioning systems, mechanical installations, testing, commissioning, and site coordination.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, ductwork, piping, and central air-conditioning. Experience with swimming pool mechanical systems, including filtration, pumps, piping, and associated equipment, will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical works across building construction projects.
• Supervise HVAC and central air-conditioning installation activities.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings and shop drawings.
• Coordinate chilled water system installation and related activities.
• Manage technical works involving AHUs and FCUs.
• Coordinate ventilation, ductwork, and mechanical piping works.
• Review material submittals and technical documentation.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on RFIs.
• Coordinate mechanical works with MEP, Civil, consultant, and main contractor teams.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Support identification and resolution of technical and site-related mechanical issues.
• Coordinate effectively with project stakeholders to maintain project progress.
• Support documentation and reporting related to mechanical construction activities.
• Apply appropriate engineering and construction practices throughout project execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Strong experience with HVAC and central air-conditioning systems.
• Practical experience in HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience working with main contractors.
• Comprehensive hands-on experience with:
  • Chilled water systems
  • AHUs
  • FCUs
  • Ventilation systems
  • Ductwork
  • Mechanical piping
• Experience with swimming pool mechanical systems is highly preferred, including filtration, pumps, piping, and related equipment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience with material submittals and RFIs.
• Strong site coordination capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with MEP, Civil, and Consultant teams.
• Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates should be ready for an immediate move to Saudi Arabia.
