Job Overview

A leading data center engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to support a flagship data center project in Abu Dhabi. The opportunity is designed for senior engineering and project management professionals with extensive experience delivering complex MEP systems within mission-critical data center environments.

Candidates should have 10–15 years of relevant professional experience, including proven experience working on hyperscale data center projects. Experience delivering data center projects in the UK, Europe, the United States, Canada, or comparable international markets is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MEP project management activities for a flagship data center development.
• Manage the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate MEP engineering, construction, commissioning, and project delivery activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, resources, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure MEP works comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and applicable requirements.
• Manage technical coordination and resolve complex MEP project issues.
• Support project planning, risk management, and delivery strategy.
• Oversee coordination between MEP disciplines and other project stakeholders.
• Drive successful delivery of mission-critical data center infrastructure.
• Provide senior-level technical and project leadership throughout project execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or similar senior MEP project management role.
• Mandatory hyperscale data center experience.
• Strong MEP project delivery and engineering management experience.
• Experience working on data center projects in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, or similar international markets is essential.
• Strong knowledge of mission-critical building services and data center infrastructure.
• Excellent project leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong technical coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Relevant engineering or project management qualifications are preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant MEP/data center certifications are advantageous.
