Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a project in Qatar on an 8-month contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, with strong expertise in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SharePoint, Web Services, databases, and enterprise application development.

The role will focus on developing, implementing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications and SharePoint-based solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to both new development projects and application maintenance, while working with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

This opportunity is suited to experienced .NET professionals seeking to further develop their expertise in enterprise application development, SharePoint architecture, Business Intelligence, DevOps, and Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise software applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop solutions using .NET Framework, C#, and .NET MVC.
• Develop and customize solutions on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS).
• Design and implement SharePoint architecture and customizations.
• Develop and implement SharePoint workflows.
• Develop custom SharePoint Web Parts.
• Extend and enhance the SharePoint platform using .NET.
• Work with Microsoft Office Development technologies.
• Design and develop Web Services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
• Support and enhance SharePoint-based enterprise applications.
• Work with MS SQL Server and Oracle Database environments.
• Design and develop Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Participate in DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and technical issues.
• Contribute to new software projects as well as application maintenance and support activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • .NET Framework
  • C#
  • .NET MVC
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Development.
• Strong experience with Web Services (WCF).
• Exposure to SharePoint 2016 is an advantage.
• Experience with SharePoint architecture, implementation, and customization.
• Experience developing and implementing SharePoint workflows.
• Experience developing custom SharePoint Web Parts.
• Experience using .NET to extend and enhance the SharePoint platform.
• Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
• Experience designing and developing Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working on both new projects and application maintenance/support.
• Must be currently available in Qatar.
• Availability: ASAP.
