Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Tester – LoadRunner to lead end-to-end performance testing and optimization initiatives in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance testing across Web, API, and Mobile applications, with strong expertise in LoadRunner, LoadRunner Cloud, JMeter, Dynatrace, and Grafana. The role requires the ability to independently manage the complete performance testing lifecycle, including strategy, architecture, scripting, execution, monitoring, bottleneck identification, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end performance tests using LoadRunner and LoadRunner Cloud.
• Conduct Web and API performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Develop performance test frameworks, scripts, scenarios, and execution strategies.
• Perform load, volume, stress, and back-out testing.
• Identify response-time issues, bottlenecks, thresholds, and scalability limitations.
• Analyze performance across applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Define and drive enterprise performance testing strategies, standards, and governance.
• Align performance testing approaches with applicable SLAs and KPIs.
• Drive capacity planning, performance forecasting, and scalability assessments.
• Analyze application and infrastructure performance metrics using Dynatrace, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex performance issues.
• Independently manage performance testing from planning through execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Present complex performance findings, technical analysis, and recommendations to management and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication throughout the performance testing lifecycle.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner / LoadRunner Cloud.
• Strong experience with JMeter, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
• Experience performing performance testing for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end performance test architecture.
• Experience designing performance test frameworks, scripts, and execution strategies.
• Strong knowledge of load, volume, stress, and scalability testing.
• Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and troubleshooting response-time issues.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning and performance forecasting.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage the complete performance testing lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings to senior management.
• Candidates must be locally available in Saudi Arabia.
