Job Overview

Alfanar Projects is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Transformer to lead transformer projects across the complete project lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, testing, commissioning, and site execution. The position requires strong project leadership, technical expertise, customer coordination, and the ability to manage complex transformer projects within an industrial and manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams and coordinate engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and site activities to support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the transformer project lifecycle.
• Manage project execution, schedules, budgets, risks, and customer requirements.
• Oversee transformer erection, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Provide technical support throughout project execution.
• Manage project resources and support effective resource planning.
• Monitor project progress and support delivery within agreed schedules and budgets.
• Address transformer technical issues and support troubleshooting activities.
• Conduct and support failure analysis and root-cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement and resource optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with customers and relevant stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Support successful project delivery in accordance with technical and operational requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Diploma holders with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
• 8–10 years of experience in power transformer services, design, erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or project leadership experience in the transformer industry.
• Strong knowledge of transformer troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and technical problem-solving.
• Experience managing transformer projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is preferred.
• Strong customer coordination, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
