Job Overview

A leading organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA/QC Engineer to support the successful delivery of high-quality building construction projects. The position is suitable for an experienced Civil or MEP Engineering professional with a strong background in construction quality assurance, quality control, inspection procedures, and construction standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality objectives throughout the construction lifecycle, coordinating inspections, managing quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and established quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material approval processes in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare and review construction method statements.
• Coordinate and close Inspection Requests (IRs).
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate client inspections.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and construction standards.
• Lead and coordinate discipline-specific QA/QC teams.
• Support project teams in achieving quality objectives throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Monitor quality processes and inspection activities to maintain required project standards.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders regarding quality-related matters.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Proven experience leading discipline-specific QA/QC teams.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems.
• Solid knowledge of construction inspection procedures.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and project specifications.
• Experience managing material approvals, inspection requests, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to construction quality.
