Job Overview

Arabian Coast Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support commercial management across multiple live infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role will focus on post-contract commercial activities for projects involving deep and shallow utilities, pumping stations, and bulk grading.

The successful candidate will manage key commercial functions including valuations, variations, final accounts, cost monitoring, and overall project commercial performance. The position also involves leading and supporting junior Quantity Surveyors, making strong technical knowledge and commercial leadership essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract commercial activities across multiple live infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and manage project valuations.
• Assess, manage, and negotiate variations.
• Prepare and manage final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and commercial performance.
• Track financial and commercial aspects of ongoing projects.
• Support effective commercial risk management.
• Lead, guide, and support junior Quantity Surveyor team members.
• Coordinate with project teams and relevant stakeholders on commercial matters.
• Apply appropriate contract and measurement principles throughout project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• MOFA-attested qualification is preferred.

Experience

• 10+ years of post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
• Proven experience working with Dubai-based contractors is required.
• Infrastructure project experience involving:
  • Deep and shallow utilities
  • Pumping stations
  • Bulk grading

Technical & Contractual Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of CESMM 3/4.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Red Book and Yellow Book.
• Familiarity with projects associated with:
  • RTA
  • DM
  • DEWA

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE.
• Strong commercial management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects.
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
• Team leadership and mentoring skills.
