Job Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior SIEM Engineer to join an enterprise cybersecurity team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on an annual contract. This position is ideal for cybersecurity professionals with extensive experience in Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, administering, and optimizing enterprise SIEM solutions while supporting threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring. You will collaborate with SOC analysts, infrastructure teams, and security engineers to strengthen organizational security posture through advanced monitoring, automation, and threat intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).
- Manage SIEM deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Perform log onboarding and integration using Syslog, Agents, JDBC, and APIs.
- Integrate enterprise security devices, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, PAM, Email Gateways, and Web Proxies.
- Develop and optimize Splunk correlation rules, security use cases, alerts, and dashboards.
- Tune Splunk Enterprise Security to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
- Support SOAR platforms, including FortiSOAR or similar automation solutions.
- Monitor and secure Windows and Linux environments.
- Conduct threat hunting, incident response, and network traffic analysis.
- Support Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Email Server security monitoring.
- Collaborate with SOC teams to improve detection capabilities and incident response processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and security reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Proven experience as a SIEM Engineer within enterprise SOC environments.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).
- Experience implementing and managing enterprise SIEM solutions.
