Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop performance-critical services using Go and Rust.
• Build scalable cloud infrastructure components and internal developer platform capabilities.
• Develop service-to-service communication systems using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Implement asynchronous programming solutions using Rust.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and workloads.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm.
• Implement GitOps-based infrastructure and application delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.
• Optimize application and infrastructure performance, latency, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, software development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Build reliable and maintainable internal developer platform components.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and engineering practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related field.
• Proven production experience with Go.
• Hands-on experience with Rust and asynchronous programming.
• Strong experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals.
• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Strong knowledge of GitOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of performance and latency optimization.
• Experience building or supporting cloud infrastructure components.
• Strong understanding of service-to-service communication and distributed systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Relevant Kubernetes, cloud, DevOps, or systems engineering certifications.
