Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Senior Testing & Commissioning Engineers to join a 6-month Shutdown Project in Kuwait. This position is ideal for electrical engineering professionals with extensive experience in testing, commissioning, and maintenance of substation equipment within the Oil & Gas industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing testing and commissioning activities for critical electrical systems, ensuring equipment reliability, operational safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Working alongside multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to the successful completion of a major shutdown project in a demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment during shutdown activities.
• Conduct testing of Current Transformers (CTs) and Potential Transformers (PTs).
• Execute commissioning activities for power transformers and associated equipment.
• Test and commission circuit breakers and switchgear systems (SWGRs).
• Perform testing of electrical meters and substation auxiliary equipment.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with project specifications and international standards.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults during commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and project teams throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience in testing and commissioning of electrical substation equipment.
