Job Overview

A leading organization is urgently seeking an experienced SIEM Engineer to join its cybersecurity team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on a yearly contract. This opportunity is ideal for cybersecurity professionals with extensive experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Splunk Enterprise Security, Security Operations Center (SOC) environments, and enterprise threat detection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, administering, and optimizing SIEM solutions while supporting enterprise security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and security operations. The role requires expertise in integrating enterprise security technologies, developing advanced correlation rules, and improving the overall effectiveness of security monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise SIEM solutions.
  • Perform log onboarding and integration using Syslog, Agents, JDBC, and APIs.
  • Integrate enterprise security devices including firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, PAM, email gateways, and web proxy solutions.
  • Develop and optimize Splunk correlation rules, security use cases, alerts, and dashboards.
  • Tune Splunk Enterprise Security to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
  • Support Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms such as FortiSOAR or similar solutions.
  • Conduct threat hunting, incident response, and network security analysis.
  • Monitor Windows and Linux environments for security events.
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts and infrastructure teams to strengthen enterprise security posture.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support continuous security improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a SIEM Engineer within enterprise SOC environments.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure and incident response.
