Job Overview

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Site Manager to lead construction activities for major Oil & Gas, Desalination, and Water Pipeline projects in Qatar. This position is ideal for senior construction professionals with extensive GCC experience in managing large-scale industrial projects while ensuring project delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will oversee daily site operations, supervise subcontractors, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all subcontract construction activities across assigned project sites.
• Supervise daily construction execution and oversee overall site operations.
• Coordinate effectively with main contractors, project managers, consultants, and client representatives.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations and quality management systems.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of construction milestones.
• Manage manpower allocation, equipment utilization, and site resources efficiently.
• Track project progress and prepare regular site reports.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and construction-related challenges promptly.
• Maintain compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and contractual requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance and safety.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in Desalination or Oil & Gas plant construction projects.
• Proven experience managing large industrial construction sites.
• Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies, HSE regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
• Experience managing subcontractors, project schedules, and site resources.
• Professional certifications in project management, construction management, HSE, or related disciplines are advantageous.
