Job Overview

Softpers Interactive is seeking a Software Engineer Level II to contribute to full-stack application development, modern web technologies, and AI-powered software solutions. The role involves owning product features, developing scalable applications, integrating LLM-powered workflows, and collaborating with senior engineers, product teams, and clients on high-impact technology projects.

The successful candidate will work across backend and frontend development using Python, Node.js, React, and Next.js, while contributing to API development, third-party integrations, database systems, and application optimization. The position requires strong technical problem-solving capabilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver software features across full-stack applications.
• Develop backend services and applications using Python and Node.js.
• Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Integrate LLM-powered workflows and AI capabilities into software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Integrate third-party services and external APIs into application architectures.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and applicable ORM frameworks.
• Design, debug, test, and optimize full-stack applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product teams, and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to application architecture and technical decision-making.
• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment workflows.
• Work with cloud platforms and Docker where applicable.
• Identify and resolve technical issues through structured troubleshooting and analysis.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Take ownership of assigned features and contribute proactively to project outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development.
• Solid experience with React and Next.js.
• Working knowledge of Laravel/PHP is preferred.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party services.
• Good understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Git and software development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and Docker is a plus.
• Strong ability to design, debug, and optimize full-stack applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive ownership mindset and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
