Job Overview

KalSoft is seeking a motivated Solution Analyst to support the analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of technology solutions based on business and functional requirements. This full-time opportunity is suitable for early-career professionals with 1–2 years of experience in solution analysis, system analysis, functional analysis, or a similar role.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and technical teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves requirements gathering, functional documentation, process analysis, solution design support, UAT coordination, defect validation, and maintaining requirements traceability.

This position offers strong potential for career growth and professional development in business analysis, solution design, technology consulting, and software delivery. Practical experience with requirements engineering, process modeling, system integration, SQL, Agile tools, and SDLC practices can support progression toward Business Analyst, System Analyst, Solution Analyst, or Solution Consultant roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical solution requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), use cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and technical teams to support successful project delivery.
• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Create process flows, workflows, wireframes, and basic solution diagrams.
• Participate in requirements validation sessions, walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support QA teams by reviewing test scenarios and test cases against approved requirements.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, defect validation, and resolution coordination.
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure approved requirements are accurately documented.
• Support project teams during implementation, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve functional questions.
• Support continuous improvement of business processes and technology solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Solution Analyst, System Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional documentation.
• Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, and process flows.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of business process modeling and workflow documentation.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts is an advantage.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and system integration concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project teams.
