Job Overview

Digital Transformation, Software Solutions & Enterprise Technology Services is seeking a SQL Server Engineer to join its team in Mohandessin, Giza. The position focuses on SQL Server administration, database troubleshooting, performance-related activities, and database support rather than software development.

The successful candidate will work with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL while supporting database operations, troubleshooting, testing, application integration, backup and restore processes, and database performance analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server and database-related issues.
• Work with T-SQL for database administration and troubleshooting tasks.
• Monitor and analyze database performance.
• Work with joins, indexing, normalization, and execution plans.
• Support database testing and application integration activities.
• Use SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database administration and troubleshooting.
• Utilize SQL Server Profiler or Extended Events where required.
• Support database backup and restore operations.
• Assist with database-related technical issues and operational requirements.
• Maintain database reliability and support effective troubleshooting processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in SQL Server.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Good experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Knowledge of joins, indexing, normalization, and execution plans.
• Familiarity with database testing and application integration.
• Experience with SSMS.
• Experience with SQL Server Profiler or Extended Events is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of database backup and restore procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Salary: EGP 15,000–25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
