Job Overview

An international engineering consultancy is urgently recruiting experienced professionals for a large Data Center project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Multiple site-based positions are available across electrical, ELV, mechanical, civil/structural, architectural, MEP planning, and document control functions.

The opportunities are intended for professionals with recent experience completing at least one large Data Center project. Candidates must currently be based in Saudi Arabia and hold a transferable Iqama. Strong project-site experience and the ability to mobilize within the required timeframe are important considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Site Engineer

• Supervise electrical site activities on the Data Center project.
• Coordinate electrical installation and construction activities.
• Monitor work against approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Monitor progress and resolve site-related technical issues.

ELV Site Engineer

• Supervise ELV systems installation and site activities.
• Coordinate ELV works with other project disciplines.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with approved requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and inspections.
• Support resolution of technical and site coordination issues.

Mechanical Site Engineer

• Supervise mechanical construction and installation activities.
• Coordinate mechanical works with MEP and other project disciplines.
• Monitor installation against approved drawings and specifications.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders.

Civil / Structural Site Engineer

• Supervise civil and structural site activities.
• Monitor construction works for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate structural and civil activities with other disciplines.
• Support inspections and quality-control activities.
• Identify and resolve construction-related technical issues.

Site Architect

• Monitor architectural works and site implementation.
• Coordinate architectural activities with engineering and construction teams.
• Review site works against approved designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Support inspections and resolution of architectural issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders.

MEP Planner – Site Based

• Develop and monitor MEP project schedules.
• Track site progress against approved programs.
• Coordinate MEP activities across multiple project disciplines.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical activities.
• Prepare progress reports and schedule updates.
• Coordinate with project teams to support timely delivery.

Document Controller

• Manage project documentation and document-control processes.
• Maintain accurate records of technical and project documentation.
• Control document submissions, revisions, approvals, and distribution.
• Coordinate documentation between consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Maintain document registers and ensure effective document traceability.
• Support project teams with timely access to current documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant engineering, architecture, planning, or document-control qualifications according to the position.
• Proven experience in the relevant site-based discipline.
• Recent completion of at least one large Data Center project is mandatory.
• Candidates must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
• Candidates must hold a transferable Iqama.
• Strong understanding of Data Center project environments and site requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a large, multidisciplinary project environment.
• Candidates who can start immediately or within less than 60 days are particularly preferred.
• Candidates with a notice period of more than two months will not be considered.
