Job Overview
An exciting leadership opportunity is available for experienced Production Managers with strong expertise in agrochemical and fine chemical manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will play a critical role in managing manufacturing execution across contract manufacturing sites, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, process quality, and production consistency. This position requires deep understanding of reactor-based synthesis, CAPA implementation, manufacturing coordination, and production process optimization within agrochemical or fine chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee shop floor manufacturing operations across contract manufacturing sites
- Ensure production activities are executed efficiently and according to operational standards
- Manage job work manufacturing setups and vendor coordination
- Monitor reactor-based synthesis operations and production workflows
- Implement and track CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing, safety, and quality standards
- Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams
- Troubleshoot production challenges and operational bottlenecks
- Maintain production documentation, compliance records, and operational reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing efficiency
- Travel to manufacturing locations across India as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in agrochemical or fine chemical manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience in shop floor production operations
- Experience managing contract manufacturing and job work setups
- Expertise in CAPA processes and manufacturing compliance
- Knowledge of reactor-based synthesis operations
- Strong understanding of production workflows, quality systems, and operational standards
- Excellent problem-solving and production management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities
- Willingness to travel extensively across manufacturing sites in India
