An organization is hiring experienced Senior Consultants for Card Issuing and Portfolio Migration projects within the banking and payments domain. This hybrid, project-based role is designed for professionals with strong expertise in cards and payments consulting, card programme launches, portfolio migration, and stakeholder-driven delivery environments.
The role combines functional consulting responsibilities with technical awareness, requiring expertise in solution design, migration strategy, Agile delivery, API understanding, and cross-functional coordination. Candidates will collaborate with banks, FinTechs, payment processors, and implementation partners across global markets including the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead card issuing and portfolio migration consulting engagements
- Support end-to-end card programme launches and migration initiatives
- Prepare structured solution design and delivery documentation
- Create effort estimates, API specifications, wireframes, and test plans
- Coordinate with implementation vendors and project stakeholders
- Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning and backlog prioritization
- Contribute to go-live planning and operational readiness activities
- Work closely with banks, FinTechs, and payment ecosystem partners
- Analyse business and technical requirements for card transformation projects
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 8–10 years of consulting, product, or delivery experience in cards and payments
- Experience in at least one end-to-end card programme launch or major portfolio migration
- Strong client-facing delivery experience with banks, FinTechs, or payment processors
- Exposure to global markets across multiple geographies is preferred
- Experience preparing solution design documents, API specifications, wireframes, and go-live documentation
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and sprint-based execution
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Experience with modern card core platforms such as Pismo or equivalent
- Exposure to ACS / 3DS vendors including Arcot, Outseer, or Thales
- Knowledge of scheme token services and payment security ecosystems
- Experience with eKYC providers such as Onfido, Jumio, or LexisNexis
- Prior experience in consulting firms, payment advisory practices, or issuer transformation offices
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Certified Scrum Master, CISA, TOGAF, or equivalent
